Craig began his career in early in 2009. Fresh out of university with a business degree, he began his internship with his father, Allan Burgoyne at Burgoyne Insurance Associates Inc. He quickly acquired his life insurance license and started selling entry level products. Within his first year he became accustomed to face to face meetings, and rapidly began to build his own client base.
Before long he began delving into the various specializations of the insurance industry. Unlike his father who primarily specialized in corporate insurance solutions, he found himself a niche for guaranteed investment vehicles in retirement. Focusing on retirement planning enabled him to create relationships with people of all income levels. Most importantly though, it also allowed him to connect with the corporate sector, where his father was already permanently established.
Two years later Craig still specializes in guaranteed investments. He continuously attends seminars with industry leaders to stay up to date on products and provide top-notch alternatives for his clients. In addition to his book of investment business, Craig has started to follow in his father’s footsteps and broke into the mid-high end corporate markets late in 2011. Leveraging his connections and product knowledge has established Craig with a whole book of corporate clients and he has been recognized as one of the top insurance/investment producers in Atlantic Canada for 2012.
